Dear Parents/Carers,
I would like to invite all Albright staff and students to wear yellow for Hello Yellow Day on Tuesday 10th October 2023. ‘Hello Yellow’ is an initiative created by Young Minds, a charity focused on fighting for young people’s mental health. By wearing yellow on World Mental Health Day (10.10.23), we can help raise awareness of mental health in young people and make an impact on the views of young people’s mental health. Mental Health is key to everything we do at Albright, I look forward to seeing a ‘sea of yellow’ amongst the Albright community on 10.10.23.
If you want to, you are welcome to make a voluntary monetary donation which will go to the Young Minds Charity, but this is not compulsory or expected. Any donations, please label; Mrs Francis, Hello Yellow.
Students can accessorize with anything yellow; top, cardigan, jumper, socks, hair accessories to name a few. This will be in addition to our Albright uniform expectations. So black joggers/trousers are still expected and if not wearing a yellow top, the usual white top and Albright hoody will expected.
